Sautee onions till golden, add ½ inch cubes of meat of equal weight to the onions – 1 kilo of meat calls for 1 kilo of onions. Brown meat. Add water, wine, or beer to cover. Bring to a boil. Add 1-2 large carrots/kilo of meat grated finely. If preferred apples or potatoes can also be grated into it to thicken it instead of carrots. If pork, cook another 45 minutes. If beef, cook til tender (which may be a long time). If some other meat, cook til tender. In the last 10 minutes of cooking add 20 grams of marjoram, 40 grams of sweet paprika, 20 grams of hot paprika, and salt to taste.
